#Chingokamustgo Can we really be surprised by a loss to Hong Kong? The environment around the sport and the country arent conducive to success-The players were forced to strike for months and postpone the domestic season, can we just expect them to come out and perform at a top international level? Not really. It starts right at the top! Not just Chingoka, but those who have messed up our country to the point that people like Chingoka can do what they do and go unpunished! I mean, can you believe they were cleared of any wrong doing in the Metbank issue? And now hes up for election again-and hell win, partly because we, the owners of the sport allow it. Weve become indifferent, not just about the sport, but also about our country. Former Minister David Coltart wrote If we dont care about what is happening before our very eyes in #Zim then why should we expect the rest of the world to do any different? We dont look at how to change things or take any steps towards changing things. In fact, when given the opportunity we join and enrich ourselves at our countrys expense too (I speak now in broad terms) rather than standing up for what is right, but then, what can we do? This is the situation were in-we may as well make the most of it, right? Well no! When asked what we should, then, do, Coltart said Speak out at every opportunity and to whoever will listen. And thats what I, for one, (-and Im not the usual editor of this page, but rather the one who created it), have decided to do. And I start now . THINGS MUST CHANGE IN ZIMBABWE. THINGS MUST CHANGE IN ZIMBABWE CRICKET. WE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR PLACE AT THE HIGH TABLE-A PLACE MADE FOR US BY OUR LORD AND CREATOR-ITS TIME TO GET RID OF THOSE PREVENTING US FROM DOING SO. It may ruffle a few feathers, but the road to freedom is long and dangerous, and only the brave, who like Nelson Mandela can say My Lord, if it needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die, will arrive at their destination-fear of victimization and perceived limits will get us nowhere. So I urge you-lets all start and take steps to ensure change. We start with #Chingokamustgo Share it but lets also take steps to ensure it happens-were some of the most intelligent people in the world, if we pool our minds together, we can come up with a solution.
