Chilly, Light NE trade winds early making for clean surf this morning esp along leeward shores. Building 10-20+ NE trades mid morning. Small NNW late today and hovering SSW swell. NORTH: Down and dropping on the N-NW swell that peaked 8 Wednesday at Sunset; today its at 3-4+ with Pipe at 3-4 (Pro Juniors or Womens Pipe Pro?); its clean and smooth for dawn hours with light sie-offshores. Expect stronger later. West: Makaha is down and dropping this morning from the N-NW+SSW at 1-3 with smooth light offshores. Town Ala Moana, Kaisers, etc. are holding on the SSW at 1-2 occas 2.5 from the SSW w/ glassy clean waves at 13 seconds; nice lines when the sets roll. Diamond Head: holding on the SSW some SSE w/good side-offshores at 1-2 occ near 3 on the drops. Sandys: holding on a trade swell and on S-SW at a solid 1-2 sets in shore pound; light offshore NNE trades filling later making for stiffer sideoffshores; East: Makapuu: holding for now from the N-NE at 1-2 in the shorebreak with light-moderate cool NNE wind onshore chop.
