Choo Choo was a stray at the local shelter and never claimed. The shelter asked for our help, as there was something wrong with his leg. He has a birth defect which left one leg smaller than the other because it has no ankle. He does not let that stop him one bit! He can run like a bullet and jump like a kangaroo! It just gives him a cute little walk...sort of a hop and skip. As a result of his disability, Choo Choo cannot lift his leg, so when he pees, he does it from a handstand! It is adorable! Hes 6 lbs and 3-4 years old. Hes a tiny chihuahua. Choo Choo is very shy around new people. Initially he is terrified, but once he warms up to you, he gives the sweetest little kisses. He will require a patient, understanding owner. Choo Choo gets along with all animals and even tolerates frisky puppies, though hed probably rather not. When another dog acts aggressively toward him, he simply retreats. He has gotten comfortable in his foster home. Hell play by himself. throwing toys in the air and chasing them. Hes heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered. Hes up to date on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. He had an exam and negative fecal. Adoption fee is $100. Email animalhelperneworleans@gmail
