Choosedays @ Samways Cycles Ride Out No. 2 with Christine Kelly from Breeze Network Derby This ride was 6 miles in total and Christine was a fantastic tour guide around the cycle routes of Darley Abbey. Although Samways is only a stones through away from Darley Park it was amazing to ride through the park and view the beautiful views around Derby. The weather was kind, the rain held off for most of the ride and fortunately it was a lot warmer than the weekend. The route was generally on cycle paths but we cycles of a few roads which was an excellent experience in building our confidence. We headed back to Samways, for home made cakes, kindly made by Jane. Cardamon with almond cakes and lemon cakes, they were so delicious, so yummy. Thank you Jane. It was a fascinating cycle ride with some lovely ladies, so sociable and so enjoyable.
