Chris Lawton.... Hows this for double standards? Once upon a time, there was a very rich man, with a very rich wife. They had a child with profound disabilities, and because they were very busy people, hired a nanny to take care of their little boy. The nanny came from abroad,and was hired through a charity which helps women escape abusive employers. The very rich man claimed Disability Living Allowance for his son, as is his wont as a British citizen, and used the National Health Service to care for his son, as is his wont as a British citizen. Unfortunately, the very rich man, once his need for all three (Nanny, D.L.A, and National Health Service) ceased, presided over a government which 1.discontinued the visa under which his nanny entered the country. 2. Allowed a man on a religious crusade to abolish the D.L.A he had claimed for his son.3. Allowed the systematic dismantling and privatization of the very institution that had cared for his child over his lifetime.....dont think Ill vote for this man!
