Chris Velasco here. Sorry I haven’t written anything lately. I’m working on our St. Louis Park endeavor. It’s our moon shot. Anyway, recently, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by artist Taylor Baldry for Pollen (BePollen), and he asked me the difficult question why I do what I do with PLACE. As many of you know, I came from extreme poverty and homelessness. Now that I have a chance to give back, I will not stop working to create a better world. I want to see a world where people have food and a roof over their heads; where they have the tools to stand on their own two feet; where their children have the opportunity to start from the same starting line as everyone else. Because my mother sacrificed much so that I could get an education, I have dedicated my life to creating a sustainable and inspiring future for people and the planet. And I couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for all the support.
