Chris made and canned 20 pints of salsa this afternoon after we got home from work. She also canned 4 quarts of pears off from one of our trees. That left me in charge of making dinner and doing dishes. Made stuffed cabbage rolls with venison burger, rice and tomato. It was a first for me and it was okay, but not great. Need to talk to some of you experts and work on getting it more refined. The dish washing I have had plenty of practice at and I have it down to a science! We still have a ton and a half of work to get done before winter. I think that we may have played too much this summer, but so be it. We will soon be shutting the lake house down for winter and some of the summer work may get done before winter. That is, if hunting season does not get in the way!
