Christ Enlightener 14/06/2013 Matthew 19:16-19 Doing the Will of God: Doing the will of God was and is probably why we are here on earth. We can amass as much wealth as we can and live any luxurious life here on earth without doing the will of our father in Heaven we have probably wasted our time on earth. Jesus Christ knew the way to salvation He said, that way was obedience to the Law of God the father and surrender to His will. Have you surrender to his will or are you still thinking about it? In our contemporary world the sight of churches and men of God are so prevalent both on the social media and Christian and non-Christian television channels but are we doing the will of God? Christ made it clear that unless you obey the commandments of God and love others as yourself, you shall not inherit the Kingdom of God pronto. Jesus Christ further emphasis that ‘not all that call me father or perform miracle in my name shall enter the Kingdom of God’ Matthew 7:21. In effect I cannot see your heart but our father in heaven whom his eyes roam round the earth do see our heart and its conceptions. Brethren, I can authoritatively assert or submit to you that non can enter the kingdom of God without repenting from his/her sins. There is definitely a destination for all us because the bible emphatically made it clear that it is appointed unto man to die and after that judgement. There are two destinations for all on earth either to the kingdom of God or hell. Why not turn from your ways today and follow this man of Calvary Cross who died for our sins by giving his life for me and for you. Our part is to repent from our sin and he has given his life. Jesus is the greatest giver, whether in his constant teaching, his healing of the sick, his feeding of the hungry crowds, in act of humility such as washing the feet of the disciples and he has always giving himself. The little he has of us we are finding it hard to give and that is to repent and accept him as Lord and Personal saviour. Brethren, mend your ways because tomorrow may be too later. Remember, ‘a day without prayer is a day without blessing and a life without prayer is a life without power’. Have a purposeful day in Jesus Name!
