Christchurch today - freezing weather but fabulously warm people! We had the FIRST turning of the turf for the first rebuild of our merged schools at the site of the new Lyttleton Primary School; then on to the new Waitakiri Primary School (the merger of Burwood and Windsor) a rousing pohiri and tour of their two campuses; followed by an opportunity to answer questions at the Year 11 assembly at Cashmere High School. Bucketed back into Wellington (which is also freezing) for a catch up and thanks to the members of the EDUCANZ Transition Board. Another excellent day in education!
