Christian blacks should remember that God used slavery, right or wrong, to expose their race to the Gospel. I dont often respond to this type of post on facebook, however, this is just, well, way out there. There is so much wrong with this one statement. First, you generalize Blacks/African Americans. If my history, is correct, Africans, were the first (among the first) to be exposed to the Christ based on where the stories of the bible originated. My understanding is the the only person God directed to get on a boat was Noah. Man ( EuroMan) directed Africans to get on a boat, or die. Many did, and still died. This person, just tried to justify the last 500 years, by saying it was Gods purpose. I call BS. Sure we have problems, as a people, as a race, as Americans, as everybody in whole world, has problems. And those problems are not Gods purpose. You can make a stupid choice and say it was Gods will. But it was still your STUPID choice, as was the opening statement.
