Christian growth. There is more than one kind of hunger, we may long for news from someone who has gone away, or may hunger for new opportunities. Folks have been starved for love and affection and certainty our hearts, our spirit, have reached out for more than this world can offer. A Christian needs to read his or her bible every day, King David set a good example Ps 1:1-2, Ps 119:97, it is important not only to read Gods Word, but to memorize it and hide its precepts in your hearts. What have we learned from the Word of God, the Holy spirit can bring to our remembrance in times of need, when we must have guidance and directions in our lives. Our helper, the Holy spirit John 14:26. Our daily bible reading shnuld be accompanied by prayer. Jesus who knew the glories of heaven before He came to this earth felt the need of prayer before choosing the disciples Luke 6:12, Acts 16, Luke 11:9, 1 Thess 5:17, even when we were at school our minds are kept busy, or job that requires our full attention of prayer, we can live in an attitude of prayer. If an emergency arises we know how to call on God, we take advantage of a pause to the Lord, in this way we are continually worshipping Him.
