Christianity had its secularization process long time ago, through blood and war, that is why Science and Knowledge flourished due to it, dogmas where broken and literally, western civilization was reborn (Reinassance and Ilistartion). Islam also brought light and knowledge to the world, but when it was tolerant and was not as dogmatic as it is now, even moderate Islam is rigid. If Islamic world does not change its dogmas, its stiffness, it will still remain in the dark ages that all religions force all societies to live in when these dictate every aspect if life (theocracies).
