Christianity is not a FIRE ESCAPE religion, which people can jump on only when they feel the HEAT of the FLAMES approaching! It is a relationship and love affair (AGAPE) with Yeshua Christ, and through Him, with His Father, Yahweh. There are so many who have fallen back on false feel good doctrine, that was begun in the 19th century, about a pre-tribulation rapture, which is not in any way biblical. Just as progressives will twist the words of our Constitution and those of our Founding Fathers to suit a meaning and intent which was NEVER what our Founders wanted for us, so also has the Word been twisted and interpreted in such a way as to play to the mindsets of those who only want to hear the sunshine and lollipops version of Yahwehs Word. Rapture is not a biblical concept at all, and those who believe they wont be around for the Tribulation forgot about that part of prophecy that says that Many will be martyred for His namesake. Thessalonians refers to the taking up AFTER Yeshua descends from the heavens. So, by the Word, I believe that Christians will go through the Tribulation. 15 ~ According to the Lords own Word, we who are alive, who are LEFT UNTIL THE COMING OF THE LORD will certainly NOT precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 ~ For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, and with a loud command with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet call of God (The Final Trumpet) all the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 ~ AFTER THAT, we who are STILL ALIVE AND ARE LEFT will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3, it says Dont let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will NOT COME until the REBELLION OCCURS (the rise of the antichrist) and the man of lawlessness is revealed (Antichrist), the man doomed to destruction. Christ will destroy the antichrist with the breath of His mouth at the same time that He gathers His children to Him. We who are left alive are here to do His work; to bring as many into the LIFEboat as possible. Revelation 12:14, And two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman to fly into the wilderness to her place, to be sustained there for a time, times, and half a time, from before the face of The Serpent. Daniel 7:25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time. (the Antichrist) So Daniel is saying that the holy people, Yahwehs children and the Bride of Christ, will be given over to the antichrist. But we who see and are prepared will be the brides of Christ who trim the wick of our lamps, and prepare with enough oil, waiting for the arrival of the Bridegroom to take them in for the wedding.
