Christians should not like many unbelievers,be the playthings or puppets of political agitation and be carried along by superficial propaganda.They must be clear about matters of principle,and be quite sure why they vote as they do and not otherwise. Christians must place themselves above all political parties in the sense that they should see and appreciate the good in each party,but also denounce and oppose the wrong unconditionally. They may not however adopt a neutral attitude, but must intelligently and prayerfully study the policies of the different parties in the light of the Word of God. They must do this so thoroughly as to be fully convinced which party is seeking the honour of God and will best serve the cause of righteousness and thus promote the highest well-being of all sections of the community.
