Christmas Charity Project 2015 : Stepping up! If you remember last year, we raised a total of 2500 pillows for the needy in Singapore. With the help of everyone, we managed that within 2 weeks! This year, it will be no different, we continue to give back to the community the best we can. We have a big team of volunteers who are going around the 1-room HDB flats, identifying the school-going children who will need a new pair of shoes and checking their sizes for school in 2015. This is going to be exciting as we have negotiated with a supplier who has generous agree to part-sponsor the shoe package. Here are the information : WHAT YOU CAN SPONSOR @ $20 per set : - 1 pair of white leather school shoes - 1 pair of white socks - Complimentary : 1 pair of black Rain shoes worth $39.90 You can check out the usual retail pricing by the supplier : raymaxscience.sg/ MY TARGET : 1,500 pairs to be distributed nationwide to the under privileged children. These shoes will be given to Singaporeans & PRs of ALL thnic races. HOW TO MAKE THE DONATION : 1. Transfer amount to POSB Savings Account 108-39895-7 (a new acc set up for this purpose in my name) 2. Via iBanking, PLEASE STATE your Facebook account name 3. Post screenshot of receipt here together, state your FB NAME and the number of pairs of shoes you are sponsoring. 4. For cheque donations please write : Keeping Hope Alive 让希望活下去 And your name and contact number For those of you who are new, please note that this is MY effort to help raise donation for the project that is mooted by Keeping Hope Alive Volunteers. Only if you trust me, then you do the transfer. As you do not know the sizing of the children, we do not encourage you to purchase the shoes on your own, if you choose to do that, you will need to be present at the distribution event to find a child who will fit the shoes.
