Christmas Connections 2014 Its Christmas once again! Time to connect with my many friends, family and followers with a quick update on Lunchmeat & Life Lessons: Sharing a Butchers Wisdom. Ten years ago today, my father John Bichelmeyer left this life and bestowed his legacy of wit and wisdom on each of us. Ten years ... and I still feel the sting of his passing. But I also feel his inspiration on a daily basis, which means hes still right here with me. That father-daughter connection lives on in countless ways. As you all know Ive taken his wisdom on the road for the past several years travelling across the country and around the globe to speak to audiences about his simple, authentic life lessons. Even now, I continue to be humbled by the many connections made through this intrepid journey, and how his common sense advice has positively impacted countless others. An email from Sunita in Croatia who was inspired by the Butchers Wisdom reminded me that life-affirming change is made possible by perseverance. Another from Agnes in Ireland signals that a disabled body is no match for a brilliant, limitless mind. And a phone call from John in Alabama rekindles the notion that kindness to others always pays great dividends. Meaningful connections. Thats a wonderful Christmas gift we can give to each other this year. Whether you wrap yours up with a big red bow, or simply a warm and enthusiastic hug, lets give each other one of lifes most celebrated pleasures: Each other.
