Christmas is a little rough for me this year. I just cant seem to find the spirit I always used to have. Maybe it comes with age but its just not the same. The ones that always made the family feel overjoyed wjtb Christmas spirit are now gone. We always went to grams for dinner as a family and now shes no longer here. The older generation was always the ones that made Christmas so special. But the more I grow older I realize that its all about the kids. Children are what make Christmas special. Yesterday I went with the closest people I have and got a tree and presents for a family we know that didnt have either one really. And the look on the two little boys face when we showed up with a tree was more spirit than I had seen in forever. Really beneficial for me to see that. Someday Ill have children of my own and eventually regain the spirit I once had as a child but until then I couldnt care less about presents or food or money. Because Christmas is about spending time with ones that we love, because someday they arent going to be there. Cherish your memories. And dont take moments for granted. Merry christmas everyone.
