Christopher Maloneys X Factor review – Week One So, the UK’s biggest singing competition was back on our screens for an 11th series this weekend. Joining ever-present Louis Walsh on the panel this year are TV’s Mr Nasty Simon Cowell (He’s a nice guy really, take my word for it!) my old friend Cheryl-Cole-Tweedy-Fernandez-Versini (that’s a mouth full) and former Scary Spice Girl Mel B. A bit of insider information for you guys; a little bird tells me a fifth judge could be joining the panel for the live shows, and there are some amazing live performances booked in this year. So watch out for my column every Monday for more details when the live shows kick off. The show has also had a makeover, which in my opinion it definitely needed, as last year’s contest was a bit drab. Who stood out for me this week has to be very self-confessed posh girl Chloe Jasmine, who I think is going to rub a lot of people up the wrong way, similar to previous finalists Kitty Brucknell, Katie Waissel and Misha B.
