Christs Resurrection from the Dead is more than a dusty theological dogma... it is immensley significant in three ways for His followers; 1. It Guarantees our Bodily Resurrection - He is the first fruits of Resurrection. He paved the way, and blazed the trail that we will all follow in one day. We will receive our promised glorified bodies and even though our skin is destroyed, yet from our flesh we will see God! Job 19:25-26. 2. It Guarantees our Justification. Paul said in Rom 4:25 that He was raised for our justification. Christs Resurrection signifies the Infinite worth of His Death on the Cross... His followers are surely Justified. 3. It Guarantees the Empowerment for a New Life! Romans 6:4 states that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father so we are raised to newness of life. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that is available to all believers to become the most Godly men and women we can be with dependence upon the Holy Spirit. Rejoice Believer...He is Risen...He is Risen Indeed!
