Chuck Lindsay brown bag seminar Oct 8 2014 KBRR and Lake Clark National Park hosted a brown bag lunch lecture celebrating the 50th anniversary of the national Wilderness Act. Chuck Lindsay highlighted his backcountry adventures on glaciers, mountains, and volcanoes in wilderness area surrounding Homer. Several wilderness areas offering limitless solitude and adventure exist near Homer. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, Chuck Lindsay will share photographs and information about climbing and skiing Iliamna Volcano in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, Truuli Peak (the highest point on the Kenai Peninsula), and crossing the Harding Icefield in Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Perhaps youll be inspired to explore these wild places yourself someday.
