Church -- Last Sunday we learned about Gods purpose in our trials of life. This Sunday we will move into part 2 of the Trials of life, but our teacher James takes a hard right turn in his thoughts. No longer does James talk about Enduring or Hypomeno through our trials (as we learned about last Sunday). This week he speaks of the dangers in trials. Its the moment in time that all of us are tested, and presented with a choice. Will we choose to live with Real Faith or will we choose to live Real World? Our Biblical teacher will answer a few questions for us this week (James 1:13-18): 1. Where does temptation come from? Is it Gods fault? Is satan hiding being every bush just looking to throw a stick in our spokes to cause us to crash in life? Is the feelings of temptation a sin? Should we even try? 2. Do we have any hope of defeating Temptation? Is it even possible to think we stand a chance? The world is just waiting to beat us down? Can we survive? Can we overcome? 3. If there is hope (Ill let you in on a little secret -- there is!!!!), how do we do it? How can we Triumph over our Temptations? Church -- we will walk through this on Sunday and continue to learn together how we can all Live with Real Faith in the Real World. Father God, I pray for Sunday. I pray Lord that you bring people into our church who need to hear from Your Word. I am praying right now that your Spirit move in our hearts. As we approach your Righteous Word, may it expose our sin so we might confess it before you and receive the forgiveness you stand ready to give. Lord I pray for Salvations -- send people who are far away from you to our church and may we love them and speak truth to them and may You save them Lord. We love You, honor You and glorify You!
