Church Unity I, therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us. (Ephesians 4:1-3, HCSB) Church unity begins with each individual having a love relationship with God. It continues with all the members becoming rightly related to Jesus Christ as the Head of the church. How are you related to God, to the other members of His body? Do you promote unity or discord in the body? Holy Spirit, come unify Your church as You are in unity with the Father and the Son. Bring us together in love, in action, and in humility. Amen.
