Citizen Defense. It is a responsibility, one held by all of us. It needs to start at the most basic level, the person. The person looks out for their children, their family. They look out for each other, and look out for their neighbors. Those that are strong look out for those in need until they can also get strong enough to help look out. Those neighbors look out for their community, and the community looks out for the region, and so on all the way up to the Citizens of the Country looking out for everyone and what makes the United States of America great. Citizen Defense is coming together to aid during times of disasters like house fires and tornados; it is coming to the aid of the voice calling for help in the dark alley; it’s checking on the widower up the street. One would think that these are common sense. Unfortunately, our society is changing to where many people do not want to get involved or think someone else will take care of it.
