Citric Acid as a food additive (in millions of food products) is NOT from fruit. It is created by and extracted from a modified black mold. This may cause a subtle but constant allergic response for some people. In recent years, a large portion of wheat, when its ready to be harvested, has roundup herbacide (glyphosate) sprayed on it, which is extremely toxic to humans, in order to make the harvest easier on the harvesting machines. This is One of the biggest reasons why so many people are reacting to wheat and gluten (its not just the gluten). Over 90% of all soy beans, and around 90% of all corn in the US is gmo AND has roundup sprayed on it. This means that all of the products with soy and corn derivatives, like oil, corp syrup, and many more derivatives (which essentially includes most non-organic food-like products) have significant amounts of roundup residue in them. As inconvenient as it may be, the American food-like products epidemic really does matter, and really does affect health. Its probably One of the top 5 most important things to be educated on in order to have a joy-filled life.
