City 3. There are always those dogs who pull at your heart. Yesterday we wanted to see how the deaf dog was and thought that was the only special needs dog at the pound. We sat outside the runs waiting on Animal Control to arrive and this little boy caught my eye. His little grey whiskers and his big eyes just cried out. We told AC that we wanted to get this guy out. They went to get him for us and we heard a dog scream. No he did not hit him or anything, this guy is somewhat hard of hearing as well and he got startled. This broke our heart alone. We sat in the office for minutes and petted him and comforted him. He had his tail tucked away most of this time. We walked outside to take our normal videos. This guy is anything but normal. He makes me cry. I petted him and gave him treats. He is an older guy for sure as his teeth are not like a younger dogs. He would hold his head to the side when eating some. I wondered if he had ear infection and if thats why he tilted his head? I got the ear wipes out of my car and cleaned his ears. He loved it and definitely needed it. I say this guy has never had ears cleaned or had a bath. He spoke to me. I told him I would not let him die and I would find him a home or rescue to show him the love he deserves. He is so affectionate but hasnt received much. Help me not let the guy down. I wanted to bring him home because I could not leave him there. Please give this older guy a chance. He is currently at the Coffee County Animal Control at 156 Freedom Drive, Manchester, TN.
