City Administrator The City of Chapman is currently accepting applications for the position of City Administrator. The City of Chapman has a population of 1390, 13 full-time employees, and annual budget of $2.4 million and provides water, electric, wastewater, police and fire services. This position requires but not limited to: communication skills to effectively work with city staff, governing body, general public; preparing contracts, policies, reports and grants; prepare and submit the annual budget to the governing body; have knowledge of the laws of Kansas, ordinances of the city and their enforcement. The City Administrator reports to a five-member council and mayor, and oversees all departments as well as managing all aspects of the employees of these departments. An ideal candidate would be willing to join in a small town living atmosphere.
