Some items on the agenda of note: Council to deal with CASH MANAGEMENT plan. A recent audit of city finances has piqued the curiosity of taxpayers, in addition to council majority. Can Brigantine account for all expenditures from the past 10 years? City website still out-of date with posting key information. ex: Last Meeting Minutes were posted APRIL 2, 2014 Still unknown who ultimately controls content on the BB-NJ website. Optimally, one specific, properly vetted city employee should be the content gatekeeper / content editor. This content/editing duty is not handled by the students who built the new site. The old city website still exists (BrigantineBeachNJ), causing confusion with those looking for municipal information. The NEW city website; BB-NJ is still owned and technically controlled by a city employee residing outside the city limits, resulting in potential mis-management of city assets and a substantial conflict of interest by a high ranking public official.
