City Council hearing for an important program that could help set national precedents for truck safety - RSVP at the link - The Cambridge City Councils Transportation and Public Utilities Committee will conduct a public hearing to examine the potential for deploying truck side guards across all city-owned trucks as part of a proposed Safe Truck program for testing innovative tools that will enhance protections for cyclists and pedestrians. The meeting will be held at 3 pm in the Basement Conference Room, 831 Massachusetts Avenue.
