City Mall commemorated Jordan’s 68th Independence Day with a number of celebratory activities that reflected this dear occasion. Dressed in traditional Bedouin attire and “madraga” the Mall’s employees greeted visitors with Arabic coffee and handing out Jordanian flags. Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the Jordanian Armed Forces Retirees’ Troupe performed the traditional dabkeh dance in the Mall, which was also decorated with Jordanian flags. Commenting on the celebration, Ms. Maram Enaya, Commercial Manager at City Mall, said the city’s favorite destination is proud of its Jordanian identity. “We were honored to celebrate this auspicious occasion with our visitors”, she added. “City Mall is the main destination for people of all nationalities in Jordan. These activities were our way of playing our part in shedding light on Jordan’s bright history and deep-rooted heritage,” Ms. Enaya concluded.
