City church featured on Travel Channel For the Cumberland Times-News Emmanuel Episcopal Church, perched high above the city of Cumberland on Washington Street, is steeped in history, playing many roles that even locals aren’t aware of. The Travel Channel will air the second episode in a new series titled “Church Secrets and Legends” featuring Emmanuel with a focus on its role in the Underground Railroad.
