City lapdogs denying access. This is where the good cops lose their fortitude and just follow orders. No matter what your first thoughts are Stephen Smith, you know this is an example of denying ones oath. Just doing their job, following orders, etc, etc, is not going to ever excuse this overkill response to a civilian conducting lawful business. These officers were used like guard dogs by those involved in this undeniable cover-up. Its a shame they forgot whom they really serve. They should have let him pass, you know this. Know matter how you, in good faith, attempt to justify their actions. This was a civil matter at best and did not require law enforcement intervention, you know this. If this organization wanted a brick wall between the investigator and information hes seeking they should have used private security. Still not going to keep him from the information he seeks.
