City life is not for me! I thought Detroit was bad...LMAO. Chicago is awful!!! I hate it. Traffic is oh I have a inch to squeeze my car in front of you or to switch lanes a billion times. Speed up slam on your brakes. Speed up slam on your breaks. Semis riding bumpers, cars going 100 mph....they drive without a brain. 168 dead this year already....then you get into town where 5 maybe 6 roads coming together. GPS says turn right. Light is green you turn only to be running a red light on the street you turned on. Several stop lights are not over the road where your trying to watch traffic., instead they are on light poles on the sidewalk. Cars are parked on both sides of the street and two lanes of traffic with barely enough room to drive along side the bike path. I think its lake shore drive some cop comes out of no where places his hand straight out and says stop.....slamming on brakes lucky to stop barely missing the cop. Everything in the car flying to the front. Residential streets have parking on each side of the street leaving barely enough room for one vehicle to drive the street much less two. People cross the streets wherever they want so be prepared to stop at any second. Then the houses are like ant colonies on top of each other. You could reach out and slap your neighbor....if your house catches on fire they all will because they are that close.....the city definitely has a smell all its own...you could not pay me a million dollars to live here. I literally hate this place. Thank God I love my family, since they are the only reason Im paying this visit. I can stay in the house all weekend and be perfectly happy to not drive in this accident waiting to happen!
