City looks for location for dog park One potential site for a dog park in Worcester received a thumbs down from many residents, while another was revisited during discussion of an issue that stretches back well over a decade. City officials hope they have moved one step closer to giving dog owners a place to play with their pooches - legally. The City Councils Youth, Parks and Recreation Committee, meeting Wednesday, Nov. 12, got an earful from opponents of Chairman At-Large Councilor Gary Rosens suggestion of incorporating a dog park in Beaver Brook Park off Mann Street. The focus now appears to have shifted back to a spot that had previously been mentioned - and similarly opposed by neighborhood residents: Green Hill Park
