City of Croswells main street as of today Nov 1, 2013. Last week I was told that this past monday they would start asphalting. That didnt happen. Soooooo word on the street is THIS monday its suppose to start. Looks like an awful lot of concrete still has to be poured before then.. Hope they are working tomorrow. The sidewalk slope still scares me, the slopes coming OUT of the stores scare me. And that feeling isnt only me, I was talking to an older gentleman on the way out of Rexfords today and his comment was that it was looking a bit better than it was, but he was worried about stepping onto that slope to a car this winter, HE didnt think it would be safe for him....................... :) sorry i just dont think that is good enuff. The general consensus of the businesses I spoke with was..... just get it over...... just end it now so we can try to recover. I hate that, I hate that our business feel that way, I understand why they do, they have put up with enough and many can NOT financially afford to go much longer. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE venture out and pop into our stores, our businesses, our restaurants, please let them know you appreciate their holding on. Purchase something, anything, support them. WE NEED THEM so that we can rebuild our commerce, our morals and our city.
