Civics 101: The Judiciary is not elected and is not accountable - TopicsExpress

Civics 101: The Judiciary is not elected and is not accountable to any one person, branch of government or political party by the intentional design of the framers of our government. Therefore, I would appreciate it if government representatives such Attorney General Scott Pruitt, Rep. James Lankford, Rep. Sally Kern and Governor Mary Fallin would stop taking advantage of an electorate with little understanding of civics by pretending that a judge or justices overruling a vote of the majority on the grounds that it violates the Constitution renders it an activist or rogue court. If the will of the people is unconstitutional then it is absolutely the Courts job to subvert that will! One reason we have an independent judiciary is to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority; this is by design and the system is not broken simply because you disagree with a particular decision.
