Clara ran through the TARDIS as fast as she could. She needed to get away, from what, she wasnt sure, but she needed to be alone. She supposed she could have always asked the Doctor to take her home, but then shed have to answer questions, lost of questions. In the end it was easier to just find somewhere in the TARDIS to be alone. Her footsteps echoed back at her as she ran. She always seemed to be running, whether from danger, or to go help, or even to save the Doctor. Theyd just left Trenzalore, and how strange her life was had finally hit her. She was impossible. She had been at the Dalek Asylum, in England thousands of years ago, and at some library or something. She was spread out right across the Doctors timeline, she knew all of his faces, she knew all of the dangers he had faced and still hadnt faced yet. She knew him better then she knew herself, and she wasnt sure she could cope with that. It was alright being with the Doctor, but he had a tendency to ask questions. Clara quickly turned left at the corner and opened the second door she found. Shed managed to find herself in a library... She wandered through it until she found an area almost fully closed off, you wouldnt see it unless youd been looking carefully. She entered the bookshelves and sat down leaning against one of them. She pulled her knees up to her chest, hugging them as she began to think through what shes learnt when being in the Doctors time stream. How could one person live with seeing all of that? And be alone? He was alone a lot, but sometimes hed have a companion, though not as often as shes first thought. And the troubles and war and death that hed seen, she hadnt even been there and yet she couldnt shake the fact that she knew about it, that shed seen some of the death he had. And it was horrible. She rested her head on her knees and focused on her breathing, she needed to find something to distract herself, anything.
