Clarence Gatemouth Brown was born on September 10, 1924, down Louisiana way, and raised across the state line in Orange, Texas. Hes best known as a working blues musician, playing guitar, fiddle, mandolin, viola, mouth harp and drums. During his career, he released over 20 albums, and is cited by Frank Zappa as being an influence on his guitar playing.
