Class Instead of talking rich / poor divide, better speak in terms of the class divide of society - collective capitalist class vs. collective working class of the world. That is scientific. The real culprit is capital. Since capital is essentially also the capitalist. Capitalist relation - capital / wage labour relation - the relation of buying and selling labour power compels the capitalists look for profit just as it compels the workers look for a wage. Both the classes are entangled in this profit / wage churning treadmill. No respite until this exploitative and oppressive production relation is done away with. Why blame the capitalists? True, they are generally rich, and therefore, the task of ending the system is not theirs; and they even cant do it, simply because they are only unproductive parasites; they comprise merely a tiny minority having no power to change the world. Its the task of the producing class - immense majority of the worlds population - the working class to replace this production for profit / wage with production for use; its the historical responsibility of the working class to emancipate itself and thereby the whole humanity from the clutch of capital and capitalism once and for all.
