Class of 05 Quakers-- Last week Ant Stone and I met over coffee to start talking about what should be done for our 10 year class reunion and came up with a brainstormed list of ideas. However, any ideas we come up with wont work if no one else is interested in the tentative plans. We would like your feedback on when in 2015 you would like to see us plan a reunion, as well as any ideas you have for a location or activity. Here are some of the ideas we came up with: - Planning on the same weekend as MSU Homecoming or around Thanksgiving since many people will be heading back to the Lansing area. - Planning over the summer so that the weather is better to be outside (see the pavilion idea below). - Picking a local restaurant and bar where we could reserve some space, and have the event be a casual drop-in. - Reserving a pavilion at Potter Park or another Lansing park so that those with families can attend and bring their children. - Planning both the bar event and the pavilion over a Friday night/Saturday afternoon. If you like any of these ideas, or if you have another fantastic idea that we did not think of, please let me know.
