Classic vs Metric targets: While theres been some talk about converting to classics to eliminate the humanoid aspect, and hopefully pick-up more match sponsors, Im wondering if theres an intermediate step we can take in the mean time. Im talking about getting rid of the B zone on metric targets. In the olden days, the B zone was used as a tie-breaker, even though the scoring remained the same. This isnt done anymore, and the B zone is nothing but a dead weight and nuisance. Is there any compelling reason for USPSA not to simply say the B zone no longer exists, and target printers remove the perf between the B and C zones? Other the next few months following the acceptance, wed remove B zone support from EzWinScore, PractiScore, and whatever else. To support legacy databases and software, any hits in a B zone are converted to C hits. Targets that have B zones would be used until their exhausted, and wed treat B hits as C when recording scores. EDIT: This has no impact on sponsorship, and is not intended to solve the classic vs metric debate. Its intended to make scoring easier. #nomorebzone
