Classical case of injustice: Need your Support In the week of September 11, 2012, my only son Mohamad Osman (23 years old) was sentenced to 20 years in prison on so-called child abuse case based on circumstantial evidence by a racist judge named Sibley G Reynolds in the city of Prattville, Alabama. My son has no criminal background whatsoever. He was a college student and working full-time. He got married to a white woman named Brittany Kaylen Fancher Osman when he was 18 years old. His wife got pregnant with twin boys Jabril and YaQub and they were living with her mom, her mom’s boyfriend, her brother and her sister. Jabril was a colicky baby and cried a lot. My son loves his boys so very much and they took Jabril to the doctor many times and the doctor told them that he is just colicky and nothing wrong with him. My son was not convinced so he and his so-called wife took him to Birmingham children Hospital and the doctor found few hair fractured bones on his arm and leg so the doctor called the social worker and in turn she called the DHR. The DHR took the babies and placed them in a foster home. My son was so devastated and cried all the time. They stayed in the foster home for one and a half year. My wife and I came from overseas and met with the DHR and initiated the legal process to get our grandbabies. We got the grandbabies and they were in a very dire situation. They were not being taken care of and they were acting and behaving like animals. It was a huge task undertaking and with the help of God we transformed their lives for the positive. In the meantime my son was still living with his wife and her family without the babies. Later on she was pregnant again with a baby girl and the DHR called us immediately to come to the hospital and get the baby girl and we did. Now we are raising 3 children. We took full custody of them. The DHR warned Brittany that if and when she gets pregnant they are going to take the children from her. Keep in mind she is very psychotic, volatile, and goes for bad. She fought with the DHR staff many times and failed every procedure they have for her. On the contrary, my son passed every procedure they have for him. One day his wife started throwing knives at my son and threatened to kill him. Her brother and sister called the police. She was taken to Autauga County Jail and she was in Jail for one year. During that time my son was free going to work and attending college until the time for his court. At these times both of them were in jail. The same judge got her out of jail cell and gave her a youthful offender and sealed the case and she was released from jail. Keep in mind she plead guilty and my son refuse to plead guilty and given a very harsh sentence. She told my son “I told you my white skin comes with perks” The District Attorneys made a deal with her mom to get her daughter out of jail if she testified against my son and she did. He is 110% innocent and this judge ruined his life and the lives of 3 children. Jabril and YaQub always ask about their dad and they love him so very much and strangely enough they never ask about their mom. One day Jabril told my wife that his mother is the one who broke his arm and leg. On another note, Brittany threatened to kill my family before they had the babies and she was in jail for 3 days. Mohamad and his so-called wife are the same age. The judge freed Brittany only because she is Caucasian. My son’s public defender had collaborated with the DA’s and the judge to sink my son. As you can imagine, it is a long story and I need your help to seek justice for my son. He was sentenced to 20 years because of his name, religion, and racial background. He was not even given due process. Is this justice? Thank you for reading my son’s case and this is just synopsis of what went on.
