╰☆╮Classified Ad ╰☆╮ Hello Beautiful AD ladies, Congratulations on reaching over 50000 members- thats huge!!!! Ok, Ill keep this short and sweet. A few weeks back, I had posted a survey here with regards to putting together an animated TV show for kids and I want to deeply thank all the ladies that participated in that survey. Right now, by the grace of God, my team and I have put together a 1 min trailer for an proposed animated feature length film titled Daughter of the Lions. The story is a twist on the Biblical story of Queen Esther- the story is set in 18th century Western African in the old Oyo Empire. As an African woman in the entertainment industry, I thought it was time to stop complaining of the poor representation of the African people in mainstream media and do something about it and the result is Daughter of the Lions. My take on the story is an interesting one as this particular spin is packed full of drama, palace intrigue, girl power, strong family values, fashion, Nigerian culture, magic and epic battles of good triumphing over evil- the kind of stuff a lot of us love to see in our all time fav movies. Heres the thing- if we generate enough buzz about this project, it is something that could get noticed by one of these big studios and be considered for production. Thats my hope. However, for now, its a school project and to pass I need at least 500 views on YouTube. So heres the call-to-action- please click on the YouTube link below, watch the video, like and then share it with your family and friends to increase the number of views and to also spread the news wide and far. One never knows who will likely see it. As a producer and developer of entertainment content, it is my hope to create pieces that will be engaging, exciting, edgy and make my 2 daughters and other young girls of color proud to be Nigerian/African/Black,in spite of all the negativity and embrace who God destined for them to be. Ladies, I want to thank you for your loving support and together I know we can do amazingly great things, especially for our children and further generations to come.
