Clayton Kershaw struck out eight and allowed just four hits in 6.0 scoreless innings to finished the season with 16-9 record and a 1.83 ERA, the lowest mark for a Major Leaguer since Pedro Martinez in 2000 (1.74). Kershaw became just the second Los Angeles Dodger to finish the season with an ERA below 2.00, joining Sandy Koufax, who accomplished the feat three times (1963, 1964, 1966). Kershaw also won the MLB ERA title for the third consecutive season, becoming the first pitcher to do so since Greg Maddux (1993-95) and the first ever Dodger. Kershaw concluded the campaign by tossing 13.0 scoreless innings over his final two starts and finished the season with a NL-best 232 strikeouts with a career-high 236.0 innings pitched. * Adrian Gonzalez reached the 100 RBI mark for the sixth time in his career with his third-inning solo home run and joined Miguel Cabrera (7) and Prince Fielder (6) as the only players to reach the century mark six or more times in the last seven seasons.
