Clean up Nepal team visted Vajra Academy- we were well guided with briefing from the Vice principal of the school, we felt something is happenning in Nepal as we get there and found Nepals first green and eco- friendly school. When we reached there, we were heartly welcomed from the school, showcasing their eco-friendly practices among students, highlighting the cooking food for the students through the steam generation with the use of huge parabolic solar panels fitted with 10 receivers, water treatments process, Bio- gas generation, first natural sun dial, herbal farming practices in the course of green studies, two eco friendly vehicles (bus) for local transportation....etc.. We really felt we missed to be at this place in the past days. Clean up Nepal will make linkages for them to manage the plastic waste ( since everyone cannot avoid it even we are trying to reduce the use of plastics in the school, like we get packed biscuits, snacks and other accesories need to keep while purchase for the use) which will be separated and cooridinate on collection system in near future. Literrally, our day went fruitful in getting such information and coordination. Thank you guys for all the support and participation. I really felt good companionships together even though I got wet while returing from the visit when I reach home.
