Cleaning out my pics files.. Heres one that some of you may enjoy doing.. Just a knife and 1mm v gouge. no glass eyes so its just you whittling. 2 x 2 x 4 block for body. 2 x 2 x 3 block for head.. carve head separately so you can turn the head.. You can do it in one piece but carvings where head is totally straight dont really look very good… The feather details are not lifelike but more ornamental expression so dont be worried about making it look lifelike..
