Cleaning the office this morning, I came across this Websters - TopicsExpress

Cleaning the office this morning, I came across this Websters Dictionary. Its old so I carefully flipped through the pages and found a hand written note. No date, but yellowed from the passing of time. Heres what it reads: Today, we are here to dedicate a plaque honoring those members and friends of Puttin Sober, who have passed on. Each of them has been family. The names inscribed on this memorial are more than me your letters of the alphabet. They each contain the memories and gifts of the bearer. You may have known some or all of them. What matters is...They were here, among us and each of them taught us something. Their age was irrelevant, their presence was what we were given. They all enjoyed being in the wind! As a group, we know there is nothing like that feeling of freedom on the road. For some of them that very freedom cost them their lives. But, we know that when we venture out on the road on a bike, danger is part of the ride. If it werent, I dont think any of us would ever ride. So, when we think of these fellow members of Puttin Sober let us remember, they were doing what they loved to do... Riding sober and free.
