Cleaning this morning and looked at todays date on calendar and thought it was 12 years ago today that I had that tumor removed from my throat. I remember how scared I was because they had found cancerous cells and I had an 18 month old and a nine year old. I remember the only time I would cry was thinking I might not get to see them grow up. My step dad (my other Dad) was so concerned and upset. It was ironic that a year later on the same date he would find out he was eat up with cancer and would lose his fight four weeks later on Christmas Day 2003. He was the best Grandpa and Step Dad. I did no wrong in his eyes.
