Cleaning up the chapel this morning, and a question keep probing my mind; what is the danger of doing nothing? And after the duty I lie down and begin to talk with the spirit of wisdom, and He drop a Biblical story in my heart, Matthew 25:18-29: But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lords money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. But his lord answered and said to him, You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talent, and I began to ask myself what actually was the major offence committed by this servant, since he was not told what to do with the talent(money), however the master judge him by his(servant motive, the servant problem is not a refusal to do something, he did something however with a wrong motive, it is better you try doing something the right way and fail than to do something he a wrong way and succeed(it will expire quick) the servant actually succeed in his own plan, however He didn’t met up with the expectation of Master. This cross across every aspect of life, however I will limit this to spiritual; God has deposited in every man a talent that makes man unique, a gift that pave way for a man, He(God) inbuilt into us over thousand of potential and we are also package of multi-million ideal to succeed. Your refusal to use all this is dangerous to ones eternity. It hard and impossible to achieve anything with only the heart desire (prov 13:4), Jesus even relate this to his disciple Mark 9:29: So He said to them, This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. In other word you don’t just desire to heal such but to do the necessary thing needed in the secrete. John 16:24-25; until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full, in other word your refusal to ask is equal your result of not getting anything, and until you do the right thing your Joy will not be full. Cain problem was not that he didn’t offer sacrifice but he refuse to do it well (gen 4:7a). Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”. The fact is that is not God duty to prosper a man, he give you all need to make your way prosperous and ones you make your way prosperous you will have a good success(not all successes are good). This verse shows a process of becoming successful in life, the first thing is prophecy(depart from your mouth) pray until your joy is full, your are the first prophet of your life ,your declaration matters in your life, the next step is to meditate/ponder on it day and night, the most famous quote by Benjamin Franklin say’s ‘early to bed early to rise, makes man healthy, wealthy and wise’ however research shows Benjamin only sleep 2-4 hours at night, when he was ask why? He said, “There will be sleeping enough in the grave”. Research shows a man who sleep 8 hours per night will at age 30 spend half of his/her life sleeping, so a normal man has to create a time to meditate over his dream/vision/mission/ambition.. mediation help you discover , when you meditate and as found the hidden treasure, the next is you observe that you do all that was the result of your meditation, even when your doing brings failure, keep trying, until you make your way prosperous and have a good success. Prophecy, meditation, observant to do all have is telling us you have to do some things. You don’t retire when you are tired of trying, all your need is to refire even when you misfire don’t get tired, and don’t cease fire just keep bomb firing until you get a well fire, because it is the desire of the messiah to help you acquire your desire though you will perspire, but just never retire. You have no excuse not to do anything Abraham Lincoln went to war a captain and return as a private, he fail as a business man, he was defeated more than five times, at a time he wrote “I am the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on the earth”. But one day he was announce the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATE. Thomas Edison’s teacher said he was too stupid to learn anything. He was fired from his first two for being non-productive, he made 1000(a thousand) unsuccessful attempt at inventing the light bulb, when he was interview he said ‘I didn’t fail 1000 times, the light bulb was an invention with 1000 steps. In conclusion Summer Redstone ones said “great success is built on failure, frustration even cast atrophy. So don’t give up your dream yet, just try to do something. No one want to know why/how you fail, but everyone is interested in how you make it, and if your dream is not bigger than you is not a real one.
