Clear Out For Christmas – Update The Table Top Sale on Saturday was a great success! We had 28 tables booked in total, 80 people through the door and we made £146.50 that will go towards funding a trip on the February Play scheme for the kids. We held a raffle with prizes kindly donated once again by Kath Ruddiforth, Manager of the Co op on Constable Road. We all really enjoyed the day and the atmosphere was great. We even managed to get our survey completed about what peoples would like to see us organise in the Valley. Julie compiled this some months ago, but neither of us have had chance to get it completed, but thanks to Violet Dube, who is currently on placement with us, we got it done at last! I would like to say special Thank You’s to Linda Joynes, Shamique Watson, Angela Mattison and Lee Hunter for their help in making sure the day was a success, as well as Steve and my partner in crime, Julie! Not forgetting Tony Oakland Smith and Cheryl Alvey for collecting money for us in the Online Centre over the last few weeks. Your support is very much appreciated.
