Clearwater Police Department Seek Car Possibly Involved In Fatal Accident A 22-year-old Clearwater man died tonight after his motorcycle crashed on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. Clearwater Police traffic homicide investigators are trying to determine if a second vehicle was involved in the accident. Martin Jay Baltimore was headed west on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard about 7:40 p.m. when witnesses said a car heading east turned north on Hampton Road. Baltimore lost control of his motorcycle and suffered critical injuries. He was taken by medical helicopter to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he later died. Witnesses said that the vehicle that turned north was black. It should have damage on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The make and model was unclear. Anyone with information on the vehicle or its owner should call Clearwater Police at 727-562-4242. Baltimore was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
